"We can't stop raving. Service, ambiance, food, drink prices, staff, everything, absolutely everything was fantastic. The animations were so incredibly cute. The photos are intentionally smaller, as one doesn't want to spoil the expectation for others."

"A great evening! The ambiance of the Steigenberger Hotel provides a worthy setting for this event. The staff was very courteous. The story was wonderfully told by the little chef. The food was very good and after 5 courses, it was satisfying, even if one might initially think it wouldn't be enough."

"Wow, what an amazing experience! Phenomenal! It was so fun watching the animations and what the chefs got up to while preparing our meals. Loved everything about it but what I really loved about it, was the kids menu! My son (7) loved everything that was served. Their kids menu was actually catered to kids which I highly, HIGHLY appreciated it. I know that sounds weird, because of course the kids menu is for the kids, but some places will just offer a smaller version of the adult meal but wow, they served meals that kids would actually eat - meatballs, cheese pasta, steak and chips, and the dessert! He loved all four courses. He even dreamt about Le Petit Chef that night! Totally worth it, it was such a fun night."

"An absolutely extraordinary experience! From the moment you walk in, you realize that Le Petit Chef is not just dinner – it’s a show, perfectly choreographed and full of surprises. The table projections are creative, funny, and technically stunning, keeping you entertained from start to finish. The service is outstanding: attentive, warm, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. You really feel looked after in the best possible way. The real highlight for me was the breathtaking view of the Tokyo Tower – like a postcard backdrop that made the evening even more magical. The combination of the food, the show, and that stunning view created an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone in Tokyo who’s looking for something truly special"

"Very delicious food. Great show. Unfortunately, the service was delayed after each show segment (online, it always looked like the film would end and the plate would arrive immediately). We waited five minutes every time. However, the staff is really very friendly and courteous. The prices, though, are really extreme… we paid €300 for two."

"This was SO fun! Such a unique experience that is very family friendly. Lots of little extras that we weren't expecting. Our 4 year old did not stop laughing the whole dinner and my husband really enjoyed it too. Food was delicious, and I was really appreciative of the vegetarian options. Staff were kind, accommodating and professional. Overall it was an outstanding experience and we are so glad we went."

"I planned the visit to Le Petit Chef for my husband, especially for his birthday (January 14th, 2026), because we wanted something special. There was even an extra show act with a small cake and candle for him. He was so happy. We felt incredibly comfortable there, the show and the story were so sweet to watch. The staff there are super friendly and lovely. Sure, the portions are small, but seriously, anyone expecting a full giant plate in a gourmet restaurant should rather buy a kebab around the next corner. My husband and I were full, and the steak was perfectly cooked to the point, and the pea and potato puree was also very, very delicious. We enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable."

"A truly wonderful experience. It might not be high-end graphics that are projected, but the idea and the story accompanying the actual meal are really cute and wonderfully executed. The four-course meal is well-composed, and the service is very attentive, polite, and not intrusive. Although a bit pricey, it's worth it for a short break from the day, combined with good food and good quality."

"Very fun experience! The food was amazing, the staff were super friendly and professional. The video was fun and exciting. It’s located on top floor of ANA Intercontinental Hotel. You sit down and they play a video hologram overhead and it’s like a mini chef is cooking for you. So exciting! It’s a 5 course meal where you pick some options, salad, seafood, steak, dessert, coffee, wines, champagne, beer. There are two time slots I believe per day, a lunch time and a dinner time. It’s pricey in general but well worth it! Can’t wait to come back next year!"

"Simply fascinating and entertaining, a unique experience! Unique also because it's extremely expensive - €180 including drinks is quite a sum. But the quality of the food was also different from the Italian place around the corner, you could really taste that. And the service also matched the price level - anything else would have led to a different review here. The sound could have been a bit better, but that's the only tiny criticism I can offer. Really something different!"

"The three of us visited Le Petit Chef at the Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf and were very impressed by the overall experience. The ambiance is high-quality and calm, especially the comfortable chairs ensure that you can enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner. You don't feel rushed but can fully immerse yourself in the experience. The service was consistently professional, attentive, and confident, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. Exactly the right level of presence you expect in a establishment of this category. A particular highlight for me was the wine pairing. Not only the selection of wines, but especially their presentation and staging, fit perfectly into the overall concept and significantly enhanced the experience. Le Petit Chef is much more than pure animation. It is a successful combination of culinary art, visual staging, and narrative elements – a small culinary journey that convinces visually and tastefully. For us, it was also a shared, emotional family experience that will remain in our memories. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for an extraordinary dinner at a high level."

"We watched the "Le Petit Chef" dinner show at the Steigenberger Park Hotel Düsseldorf. It's a 5-course menu accompanied by a video projection on the table. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff, and asked about allergies/intolerances. At the table, we were immediately able to order an aperitif, which was served promptly and thus bridged the start of the show. In advance, we could choose between a vegetarian or a meat dish. We had both. Since we hadn't looked at anything about the show online beforehand, we were immediately thrilled by the first appearance of the little chef and were happy to be guided by him through the evening. The staff was courteous and advised us on choosing the right wine. They were always present, very polite but not intrusive. The menu portions seemed very small. But with the entertaining breaks in between and ultimately the 5 courses, we were certainly satisfied. The quality of the food was excellent. Cooked to perfection. The presentation of the food was simply great. After the event, you still had the opportunity to linger at the bar to round off the evening. It's an event suitable for families. The show for us lasted three hours. It's not exactly cheap per person. But for us, it was an entertaining evening in a harmonious atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this event."

We would definitely recommend this to everyone who’s looking for something unique and memorable!"

"It was an unforgettably beautiful and breathtaking experience! Both the food and the stories of the 4 chefs impressed and delighted us greatly. It was wonderful to see how each course had its own little story. A very special highlight was the extra surprise for my girlfriend's birthday. Not only were there congratulations, but it was even sweetened with its own "Le Petit Chef" film and a surprise – a truly lovely gesture that made the evening perfect. There's a lot to highlight: The show was visually top-notch, the food excellent, and the staff's service was first-class. We felt completely at ease. Absolutely recommendable!"
