Sa Punta is located directly by the water and offers a beautiful view over the bay and the harbor – that alone makes the visit a special experience. The focus here is definitely on the atmosphere, which is combined with a stylish dinner and first-class service.
The dishes we tried also completely convinced us in terms of taste. With this post, we would like to give you a little insight into the atmosphere and flavors of Sa Punta – and perhaps inspire you for your very own Ibiza Dinner Night Out.
Welcome to Dinner in Ibiza
As soon as you arrive, you immediately get this Ibiza feeling: relaxed, boho and stylish at the same time. The selection of welcome cocktails is small, but well thought-out – with and without alcohol – along with a lovely wine list.
Upstairs, a separate bar invites you to stay and linger. Despite the size of the restaurant, everything feels surprisingly private and idyllic. Plenty of space, cozy corners, Ibiza music in the background and warm service immediately create an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer.

The Perfect Start
Already with our starters, we noticed that the kitchen team at Sa Punta places great value on distinctive flavors. We decided on the following two dishes:
The Red Tuna Ceviche with Tiger Milk and Passion Fruit was fresh, light and had exactly the right amount of spice. The sauce in particular convinced us. It had an intense flavor, was perfectly balanced and, in combination with the freshly served bread, was simply unbeatable. A dish that immediately tasted like summer. Unforgettable.
The Chicken Moroccan Bastella, on the other hand, was a real surprise – we had never tried anything like it before. The pastry was paper-thin and still super crispy. Inside, it was filled with a generous and aromatic chicken filling. Savory meets sweet here, which is what makes the Bastella so special. It gave us the feeling of a warm apple strudel from home. That instantly makes you feel at home, doesn’t it?
Not to forget: Spanish olives and typical aioli – a classic that should not be missing from any dinner in Spain. That is exactly what we wanted from the start of the evening: surprising, full of flavor and that little wow moment.
Sunset on the Plate
We got to enjoy the beautiful sunset alongside our main course. Watching the water begin to shimmer and sparkle in the colors of the sky as the sun slowly disappeared behind the mountains – it simply looked like a painting. The plates served in front of us were just as beautiful, and they completely convinced us in terms of taste as well.
We decided on Beef Tenderloin with Anticuchera Sauce and Half-dried Tomatoes as well as Wild Sea Bass with Lemon & Basil Gremolata – served with Fries and Green Beans.
The steak was simply cooked to perfection for us: beautifully seared on the outside and still beautifully red on the inside. The flavor of rosemary came through nicely, the sauce was wonderfully peppery and the steak itself was seasoned just right. The oven-roasted tomatoes added a lovely freshness that created a beautiful contrast to the rich flavor of the meat.
The Green Beans also impressed us – crisp, fresh and topped with green pesto. And the Fries? Of course, they simply cannot be missing from a good dinner for us.
The fish was a completely different experience. The green pesto from the beans was beautifully reflected in the flavor of the fish. Light, yet still wonderfully flavorful. The fish was very easy to cut apart while also having a beautiful crust – for us, a sign that the cooking and craftsmanship in the kitchen were simply on point.
A main course that was simply perfect – not only on the plate, but in that very moment too.
Ending on a Sweet Note
The dessert gave us the perfect ending and also made us say a clear “Yes, we’ll be back.” Although we were actually full, we simply couldn’t resist the warm Lava Cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit. Who can say no to dessert, right?
And we promise, it is exactly what you want at the end of a dinner: When we cut into the cake, the warm chocolate flowed out and the rest of the cake was wonderfully fluffy. With the ice cream, you could immediately taste the flavors of the vanilla, so the two components complemented each other perfectly. This gave every new bite just the right lightness. And the strawberries? They were, quite literally, the “strawberry on top of the cream.”
A Little Memory from Sa Punta
As a summary, Sa Punta is a great choice for a dinner in Ibiza. The view, the atmosphere, the idyllic sunset, and of course the great menu speak for themselves.
At the end, we even received a coin that could be used for the photo booth. This way, we were able to create another very personal memory of the evening and even take it home with us. Pictures and memories never fade. And the evening at Sa Punta was definitely unforgettable. Hopefully, your evening there will be just as unforgettable!
