The Druckwasserwerk once powered the hydraulic drives of the harbor facilities. After the technical equipment was decommissioned in 1960, the harbor site was later renovated as part of a conversion.
Today it houses a residential quarter, and the former pumping station is home to Abacco’s Steakhouse. The highlights of this exclusive gourmet restaurant include tender fillets and prime rump steaks.

The Ommia is the international interpretation of Asian cuisine. Here it's all about new creations and rich flavors. The concept draws on the term umami, which in Japanese stands for “savoriness”.

Note: This restaurant is permanently closed. With its venerable façade, Holbein’s is without doubt one of the extraordinary restaurants in Frankfurt. The restaurant has been housed in the Städel art museum since 1999 and has treated its guests to fine dining ever since.
An experiential café by day and a restaurant with excellent cuisine by night. The restaurant's concept is diverse: fine dining during an art break, business and lunch offers, as well as sushi, wok creations, salads and changing daily specials.

Tip #11: Zum Lahmen Esel
The first mention of the inn dates back to 1807, and the historic guesthouse was family-owned until 1972. After several changing tenants, the Lahme Esel finally found its current owner.
Today it is one of the largest cider taverns in Frankfurt and the right place to go for traditional dishes. Thanks to the extension during the renovation, there is now enough space for large and small parties.
When the weather is warm enough, there is also a cozy terrace with an idyllic garden. The extensive menu features regional and hearty home-style dishes and impresses with regional quality.
