Tip #2: Salaheddine Bakery
We are not just talking about ‘Sandwiches’, we are talking about ‘Best Sesame Bread Sandwiches in Jordan’. Since 1965 Salaheddin Bakery in the Abdali Neighborhood has been offering their self-service sandwiches with success.
The concept is simple and brilliant. Customers walk in, grab their freshly baked sesame bread and stuff it with their favorite ingredients, like cheese, roasted or boiled eggs, za’atar and sauce.

Tip #3: Nur Lebanese Dining
Chef Joe Barza is the mastermind in the kitchen of Nur Lebanese Dining. He brings the taste of Lebanon on the tables of the fancy Fairmont Hotel restaurant. With over 30 years of experience, he has created a menu, featuring a mix of authentic, but also Lebanese fusion kitchen.

Tip #4: Pizza Nina
Eating out in Amman, doesn’t mean eating Falafel, Hummus and Mansaf every day. When locals go out, they love Sicillian pizza – best made by Pizza Nina. The house of Sicilian pan pizza makes deep pan pizza with artisan sourdough crust.

Tip #6: AlQuds
AlQuds is a hole in the wall. But it also serves the best falafel in Amman. Located in the middle of buzzing Rainbow Street, the options are limited, but extraordinarily delicious. Two types of falafel sandwiches, normal or deluxe, are available.
Owner Adib Rasas opened the spot in 1966 and has since served falafel to locals and tourists, but also to many VIPs. Waiting in line for the very popular sandwiches is just a normal procedure for AlQuds customers.
