"At the Steigenberger Park Hotel Düsseldorf, we watched the "Le petit chef" dinner show. It's a 5-course menu, accompanied by a video projection on the table. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff, and asked about allergies/intolerances. At the table, we were immediately able to order an aperitif, which was served promptly and bridged the start of the show. In advance, we could choose between a vegetarian or a meat dish. We had both. Since we hadn't looked up anything about the show online, we were immediately captivated by the first appearance of the little chef and gladly let him guide us through the evening. The staff was courteous and advised us on selecting the right wine. They were always present, very polite but not intrusive. The menu portions seemed very small. However, with the entertaining breaks in between and ultimately the 5 courses, we were certainly full. The quality of the food was excellent. The cooking was perfectly done. The presentation of the food was simply great visually. After the event, there was still the opportunity to linger at the bar to round off the evening. It's an event suitable for families. Our show lasted three hours. It's not exactly cheap per person. But for us, it was an entertaining evening in a harmonious atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this event."

"We visited Le Petit Chef at the Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf as a trio and were very impressed by the overall experience. The ambiance is high-quality and quiet, especially the comfortable armchairs ensure you can enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner. You don't feel rushed, but can fully immerse yourself in the experience. The service was consistently professional, attentive, and confident, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. Exactly the level of presence one expects in an establishment of this category. A particular highlight for me was the wine pairing. Not only the selection of wines, but especially the presentation and staging, integrated perfectly into the overall concept and significantly enhanced the experience. Le Petit Chef is much more than mere animation. It is a successful combination of culinary art, visual staging, and narrative elements – a small culinary journey that impresses visually and tastefully. For us, it was also a shared, emotional family experience that will be remembered. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for an extraordinary dinner at a high level."

"Primary reason for my score: Because it made a special occasion truly memorable. Comments: I visited for my mother’s birthday, and we were given a wonderful seat with a view of Tokyo Tower. The birthday plate that was prepared for her was a lovely surprise, and she was very happy. Thanks to your thoughtful service, we were able to spend a memorable and satisfying time together."

"Great ambiance and great show. Well organized, very delicious food and friendly service. You choose between 3 menu options, one of which is vegetarian. There's also a kids' menu. Le petit Chef always cooks the Premium Menu, if you haven't chosen that, you'll just get something else on your plate (which isn't so bad, of course). The coffee prices are reasonable, the drinks, in my opinion, are overpriced even for Frankfurt. A bottle of water shouldn't cost over 10 Euros. There's an exquisite wine selection, but since I don't drink wine, I can't say anything about that. The overall experience was well worth its price."

"Very delicious food. Great show. Unfortunately, the service was delayed after the individual show segments (online it always looked like the film would end and the plate would arrive immediately). We waited five minutes each time. However, the staff is really very friendly and courteous. The prices, however, are really extreme... the two of us paid €300."

"This was SO fun! Such a unique experience that is very family friendly. Lots of little extras that we weren't expecting. Our 4 year old did not stop laughing the whole dinner and my husband really enjoyed it too. Food was delicious, and I was really appreciative of the vegetarian options. Staff were kind, accommodating and professional. Overall it was an outstanding experience and we are so glad we went."

"The petit chef experience was excellent. My kids who are 8y/o and 3y/o loved their menu and us adults loved our menu as well. The ambiance is very good."

"We can't stop raving. Service, ambiance, food, drink prices, staff, everything, absolutely everything was amazing. The animations were so incredibly cute. The photos are intentionally only smaller ones, because you don't want to spoil the anticipation for others."

"I planned the visit to Le Petit Chef for my husband, specifically for his birthday (Jan 14, 2026), because we wanted something special. There was even an extra show act with a small cake and candle for him. He was so happy. We felt incredibly comfortable there, the show and the story behind it were so sweet to watch. The staff there are super friendly and kind. Sure, the portions are small, but seriously, if you expect a full giant plate in a gourmet restaurant, you should rather buy a kebab at the next corner. My husband and I were full, and the steak was perfectly cooked to the point, and the pea-potato puree was also very, very delicious. We enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable."

"We had such a wonderful experience! The 3D projection was creative, fun, and truly impressive, it made the whole dining experience so special. Both adults and kids were amazed and had a great time. Each dish was exciting, beautifully presented, and full of surprises. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this to everyone who’s looking for something unique and memorable!"

"Wow, what an amazing experience! Phenomenal! It was so fun watching the animations and what the chefs got up to while preparing our meals. Loved everything about it but what I really loved about it, was the kids menu! My son (7) loved everything that was served. Their kids menu was actually catered to kids which I highly, HIGHLY appreciated it. I know that sounds weird, because of course the kids menu is for the kids, but some places will just offer a smaller version of the adult meal but wow, they served meals that kids would actually eat - meatballs, cheese pasta, steak and chips, and the dessert! He loved all four courses. He even dreamt about Le Petit Chef that night! Totally worth it, it was such a fun night."

"Very fun experience! The food was amazing, the staff were super friendly and professional. The video was fun and exciting. It’s located on top floor of ANA intercontinental hotel. You sit down and they play a video hologram overhead and it’s like a mini chef is cooking for you. So exciting! It’s a 5 course meal where you pick some options, salad, seafood, steak, desert, coffee, wines champagne, beer. There are two time slots I believe per day, a lunch time and a dinner time. It’s pricey in general but well worth it! Can’t wait to come back next year!"

"Simply fascinating and entertaining, a unique experience! Unique also because it's extremely expensive - €180 including drinks is quite a sum. But the quality of the food was also different from the Italian place around the corner, you could really taste that. And the service also matched the price level - anything else would have led to a different rating here. The sound could have been a bit better, but that's the only minor criticism I can offer. Truly something different!"
