Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur proudly presents Le Petit Chef.  Taking you for a ride on an extraordinary 90-minute dining experience, this culinary journey promises multisensory wonderment as themed music and props immerse you in the cultures and food from different countries, all while remaining comfortably seated.

Guided by the world’s smallest chef, you will follow the footsteps of Marco Polo, known worldwide for his remarkable journey through Asia while traversing the Silk Road. The groundbreaking visual production from Le Petit Chef brings a wondrous 3D mapping performance over the dining table, harmoniously intertwined with an exquisitely crafted six-course menu prepared by Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s culinary masters, led by Executive Sous Chef Matteo Fracalossi. 

 


 

A non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of booking. MYR 100 per booking is required for group bookings of 4 persons and below, while larger groups of five persons and above will require a 50% deposit. Full payment will be required on the day of the dinner via cash/card.

Featuring cutting-edge 3D visual technology and digital mapping, treat yourself to an immersive culinary journey with Le Petit Chef at your table, paired with themed music, props, and an exquisite 6-course menu.

A miniature chef to life on your dinner table, all through the magic of visual mapping. By mapping your dining table and the objects on it (e.g. your plates and cutlery), we are able to project a virtual story onto the tabletop.

The 3D effect is often thought of as a hologram or a 3D projection. In fact the use of special optical techniques, length distortions from the right angle to produce the effect or illusion of 3D. Along with 3D projections, the Marco Polo story will also include props, soundtracks, and scents, which will make guests “breathe the icy air of the Himalaya one moment, and feel hot and heady in an Arabic souk the next”.
