Odette’s cuisine and plating is art. That‘s maybe one reason why this three star Michelin restaurant is located in the Singapore National Gallery. Chef Julien Royer and his team are cooking modern French cuisine, with seasonal and local products from artisanal Asian and European producers.
The Asian influence is present in the exquisite dining experience. Make sure to leave room for dessert, created by one of Asia’s best pastry chefs, Louisa Lim.

A Floating Seafood Restaurant experience is what Smith Marine offers. Since 2014 locals and tourists alike have enjoyed their meal in the middle of the ocean, about ten minutes from the Changi Point Ferry Terminal.

Tip #4: Mama Diam
A mama shop is an important element in Singapore’s culture. It refers to a small, family run convenience store, mostly found in the 80’s and 90’s. With Mama Diam the owner tried to recreate exactly this memory, with a restaurant concept included.

Singaporean-Japanese fusion kitchen awaits at Mustard Seed. What once started as a private dining pop-up, is now a Michelin praised, intimate, restaurant. 13 people fit in the cozy dining room and get served at the same time, with culinary surprises by chef Ming Kiat and his team.
The tasting menu changes every two months and the counter dining experience makes it easy to watch the young chef working with local and seasonal ingredients.

Tip #6: Warong Nasi Pariaman
When in Singapore, you can’t miss Warong Nasi Pariaman. It’s one of the oldest eateries, even recognized by the National Heritage Board of Singapore! Nestled in the Muslim quarter, the eatery is a must visit on every foodie list. It was founded in 1948 by Isrin bin Ibrahim and his wife Rosna binte Zainal Abidin.
Indonesian cuisine, each dish is still cooked the traditional way. Order from the display case and make sure you don’t miss out on their famous Nasi Padang. Set meals come packed in banana leaves.

Tip #7: Samy’s Curry
Eat with your hands is not just a slogan at Sam’s Curry. The restaurant has existed since the 1960s and serves authentic Northern and Southern Indian cuisine. It needs to be enjoyed the traditional way! Masala Chicken, Fish Head Curry and Mysore Mutton is what Sam’s is famous for.
The eatery at Dempsey Road is an institution and beloved by locals and tourists. Founded by chef Veerasamy, it’s to this date a family owned business.

Tip #9: Da Dong Prawn Noodles
Watson Lim is the owner of this hidden GEM, a stall called Da Dong Prawn Noodles. It’s known by locals as one of the best in Singapore. Founded 1966 by Watson Lim’s father, the son took over the business in 2018.
Prawn broth, every day freshly cooked as a base, bee hoon noodles, meaty big prawns and/or pork ribs, fill the bowl of the customers, sometimes for breakfast, but also for lunch.

Tip #10: Tanuki Raw
Modern Japanese inspired cuisine and one of the best Happy Hours in the city, this is what Tanuki Raw stands for. The first outlet opened in 2012, in the meantime there are four locations, even one at the Airport.

A custom built tawa, an iron grill, a hand-built tandoori oven and a wood fire grill, are the heart of chef Saurabh Udinia’s kitchen at Revolver. The Indian eatery with International flair opened in 2021.
